Tilbury Care Home, Essex

The £2.6m care home provides a 52 bed Nursing Home and a 10 bed Residentail Care Home developed for people with mental support needs. The design provides a homely and welcoming appearance, helped by a large, secure west facing garden to the rear.

St. Michael’s Hospital, Warwick

The hospital replaced Hatton hospital and was opened by HM The Queen in 1996. Subsequently, the practice worked on the £600k refurbishment of the acute wards to meet changing requirements and to reflect the Trust’s experience in the use of the building.

Myton Hospice, Coventry

This new Hospice provides 20 single inpatient en-suite rooms and out-patient day care facilities. The curved plan responds to the site and provides closer interconnection of the different elements of the plan. It has been constructed for low energy use and includes sloping precast concrete roof panels for thermal mass.

LOROS Hospice, Leicester

This Willows wing extension provides 11 single en-suite rooms to improve the ratio of single bed rooms to ward bays. The new layout creates a second courtyard that carefully landscaped with planting to provide both sensory and visual stimulation.
